Suitable for a solo getaway
The room I had was really lovely, very comfortable bed, and the bathroom was exceptionally clean. Free bottled water in the room was a nice touch, and they provided lots of tea, coffee, and biscuits, which you know I enjoyed.
It definitely wasn't inexpensive, but for what you got it felt acceptable enough.

The decor in the lobby was warm and welcoming, making it feel like a cozy retreat rather than a hotel. The accessibility features made navigation easy, and the staff were particularly accommodating, ensuring a delightful stay.
More variety in breakfast options would be nice.

The breakfast had lively staff and a great vibe going on, while the nearby Mustard Seed Coffee Shop had brews to rave about. Chatting with the crew was the highlight of my stay!
The room was musty and damp, with dirty bathroom fittings and safety hazards that raised eyebrows. A bit of cleaning and updating could work wonders!

missingWrote a review on 05 Junwelcoming staffgood locationclean facilitiespoor heatinguncomfortable mattresslimited variety
The Lovat in Perth has a cozy feel, but there are areas needing attention. The staff greeted me warmly upon arrival, a nice touch that made me feel welcome. Free wi-fi worked perfectly throughout my stay, which was great for staying connected. The room I stayed in had decent space, but it felt dated. I noticed the mattress didn’t fit the base properly, making it a bit uncomfortable. The heating barely worked, which was unfortunate. Breakfast options were limited, just a couple of cereals and basic hot food that didn’t seem fresh. On the plus side, the restaurant offered a more appetizing menu with tasty meals. The location is convenient for exploring, but maintenance is definitely lacking. Some areas looked worn down, and I expected a bit more for the price I paid.

great central spot for exploring parks and landmarks
I had a fantastic time celebrating my husband's 70th birthday here, where the food was tremendously well presented and the staff were extremely professional and helpful, making it a perfect base for our city strolls to attractions like South Inch park and St Ninian's Cathedral that are just a short walk away. although the bar could use a little more attention to keep up the overall vibe, it didn't take away from our overall experience.
